The French and Indian war made America
There are three sides in the French and Indian war. The British the French and the Indians. The British wanted to fight because they wanted to expand westward so they could grow there colonies. The French fought so they could stop the British from expanding. They all so had past wars so they are big enemies. In the war the indians made an alliance with either the british or the french. In the beginning of the war the biggest allies for the french were the Delaware's and the Shawnees. The British had a strong alliance with the Iroquois indians. The British and French fought the european way like in the picture. That would change in the French and Indian war. Both sides would have to change their fighting style to the indian way. The Indians fought by hiding behind cover not in strait lines. In 1755 on July 9th General Braddock was killed because he fought in the european style when the french fought behind cover like the Indians. This is when the British learned that they had to change there fighting style if they wanted to win. With out the British learning there lesson the would not have one the war.
